You read the topic well. As of yesterday, you can legally buy a car from Amazon. In 48 cities across the United States, customers can purchase new Hyundai vehicles at a local Amazon partner. So, what does this new feature include? How is it determined? Here’s everything Amazon has revealed so far.
Where is Amazon Autos located?
Starting December 10, customers can browse, order, finance, and schedule pickup for their new Hyundai through Amazon. Amazon Autos is a new service offered by the online retailer. Offers online car shopping only with Hyundai dealers at this time.
Currently, Hyundai dealers in metropolitan areas are included in the Amazon Autos program. However, the online retailer has plans to add more Hyundai dealers. Additionally, Amazon has plans to add other automakers, brands, and cities to the Autos functionality.

With Amazon Autos, we are bringing the simplicity and convenience customers have come to expect from Amazon to car dealerships, one of the most popular shopping experiences, while giving dealers a new channel to connect with a wider audience,” they said. “We are delighted to have Hyundai as an exclusive partner and look forward to welcoming more brands and expanding our choice for customers as this program grows. It’s early days for us and we welcome customer and merchant feedback as we continue to add new functionality, expand to more brands, and iterate on the customer experience.”
