Japan’s opposition leader admits to extramarital affairs By Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Yuichiro Tamaki, the head of Japan’s opposition party, has emerged as kingmaker as lawmakers choose the next prime minister. Monday (NASDAQ :), said a tabloid report about his extramarital affair was “absolutely true”.
“I apologize for the problem caused,” said the head of the Democratic Party for the People (DPP) when he told reporters at a press conference called immediately after the SmartFlash newspaper reported the matter on Monday.
“The facts reported this morning are true.”
