Auto insurance rate hikes set to slow in 2025 — report

Despite the drop in inflation, the average cost of comprehensive car insurance is expected to reach a record high of $2,101 per year. The states of Nevada and Florida will overtake Michigan as the most expensive state for auto insurance in 2025, with annual comprehensive insurance costs expected to be $3,216 and $3,264, respectively.
