Bitcoin to Future Energy Cars – Michael Saylor Responds to Elon Musk’s Robotaxi Event By U.
U.Today – Michael Saylor, founder and CEO of MicroStrategy, took to his X social network account to release a typical Bitcoin tweet with a picture. However, this time, the subject of his tweet is not only BTC.
The message and image seem to be a reaction to the recent presentation of Tesla’s Robotaxi/Cybercab by its CEO, Elon Musk, on Oct. 10. The event was called “We, Robot…” in reference to the movie starring Will Smith. in the sci-fi stories of Isaac Asimov.
Cars of the future and
Saylor published a tweet, which read: “Cars of the future will be powered by #Bitcoin.” This message was another of BTC’s favorite metaphors.
It appears to be an overreaction to a recent event by Tesla (NASDAQ:) CEO Elon Musk. Musk introduced self-driving Cybertrucks to be used as taxis. Musk gave a speech, in which he criticized the modern transportation system, which seems to be ineffective due to high traffic and other problems.
The Robotaxis/Cybercab does not have a steering wheel or pedals, and does not require any control from the passengers. Earlier, Musk said that users will be able to allow their Tesla cars to be used as taxis since, on average, the car is not used every week.
Elon Musk’s Tesla “We, Robot” event for the future
As previously reported by U.Today, the official account on X spotted a photo of a dog placed in the Cybercab during the 3D presentation on the screen at the “We, Robot…” party. It was held in a large hangar, where users were able to board one of the fifty robots available.
Apart from Cybercabs, the guests of the event also saw the appearance of androids made by Tesla called Tesla Optimus (“independent assistant, human friend”). One of them even worked as a bartender, making cocktails and dressing accordingly, also wearing a fedora hat and allowing clients to take pictures with it. The robot showed the peace sign with its fingers while the pictures were taken.
