BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s manufacturing activity expanded for a third straight month in December but at a slower pace, an official factory survey showed on Tuesday, suggesting fresh momentum is helping support the world’s second-largest economy.
The official purchasing managers’ index (PMI) was 50.1 in December compared with 50.3 in November, above the 50 mark that separates growth from contraction but missing the median forecast of 50.3 in a Reuters poll.
