How to remove rust using only kitchen utensils

You can buy all kinds of rust removal formulas, many of which are toxic, and expensive. However, there is a better way to remove rust and it involves using only kitchen utensils.

Removing rust using a kitchen sink

  1. dishes, you need
  2. Aluminum (**) foil.

Oil. I think any oil will do, say, canola oil, although I have to admit I cheated and used bicycle oil, since I was cleaning the headset and didn’t want to cook it afterwards.

If you don’t know where the kitchen is, it is the room where your wife cooks your food. Sorry, I couldn’t resist

(**) That’s “aluminum” for those of you who still measure distances by your feet.

Now rub the Al into a ball and apply oil to the rust area. Then use the ball to scrub it. The speed at which this works is one of the few things that prove the name

Now, it’s impossible to remove pits and if the rust is so bad it’s flaking, there’s an easy way to use garage tools and high school chemicals. This will be covered in future posts.
