A 10,000-square-foot wooded property on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe sold at a nearly 30 percent discount for $33.5 million.
The Incline Village property first came on the market for $49 million about one year ago. The Wall Street Journal reported, but the asking price was reduced to $44 million in August.

First California Mortgage Company Dennis Hart and his wife, Katherine Hart, were the local sellers and were represented by Jean Merkelbach of Engel & Völkers. The property was sold to someone from the San Francisco Bay Area and the deal included furniture, according to buyer’s agent Christine Perry of Christie’s International Real Estate Sereno.
Property records show the Harts bought the nearly one-acre property in 1994 for $2.85 million. After that, the couple tore down a 1940s house in the area and built a nine-room mansion in its place within three years. They also restored the boathouse to the property and connected it to the main house with a wine cellar, according to WSJ data.
The home features an indoor saltwater pool, with log and locally quarried stone details, and a game room with a pool table. The property includes a sandy beach, a steel bar with elevators, multiple buoys and a beachside cabana, according to the listing description.
In October, another lakefront property in Incline Village, originally developed by casino mogul Steve Wynn, sold for a record $62 million. That home takes up about 12,700 square meters and sits on five acres, including 210 meters of sandy beach.
