Mark Willis is stepping down as CEO of Keller Williams, taking on the role of CLO

“I have nothing but deep gratitude and respect for Mark and his decades of leadership in our organization,” Keller wrote.
In this new role, Willis will work to develop new leaders in the company.
“When Mark rejoined our team, he and I talked about this role as Mark’s true calling, and I’m happy that this is finally happening,” said Keller.
According to the email, while the company looks for its next CEO, Stacie Herron, KE’s current chief legal and administrative officer will serve as interim CEO.
In a statement, Willis said serving as CEO twice has been “an honor [his] the rest of your life.”
“Now, I’m excited to take on a new challenge as I move into a new role that Gary and I have worked together for a long time to establish. As Chief Leadership Officer, I will focus on helping our leaders grow and achieve their highest potential,” added Willis. “We have a lot to do together, and I look forward to being a part of that journey moving forward, I am confident in the company’s future and continued growth.”
Willis left Keller Williams in 2016, but returned to the company, which went viral. Twitter hashtag and a legal battle leading to a temporary injunction. A few months later, in November 2023, Willis returned to the position of CEO at Keller Williams. This was followed by his renaming as president of the company in March 2024 when Marc King resigned.
