TOKYO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Yagi & Co., Ltd. (TOKYO:7460) will unveil LAVATECH for the first time at the Heimtextil Exhibition in Germany (an international trade fair for home textiles and contract textiles). which has a high infrared effect, is made by using a special technology to finely crush the lava rock found in the ground around Mount Fuji to weave into fibers.

About LAVATECH
Since ancient times, the volcanic rock that forms at the base of Mount Fuji has been carefully protected from changes in surface temperature and climate. LAVATECH is made by weaving this subterranean rock. We achieved a high far-infrared effect by using special technology to properly crush the underground lava rock in Mt. Fuji to weave into threads.
