As technology advances rapidly, Zumper is the latest company in the real estate industry to dive into artificial intelligence (AI) assistants.
The rental site this week introduced an AI assistant named Zoe, which according to the company can answer “almost any question a renter has about a property or neighborhood.” Zoe can also help manage the apartment rental process by requesting tours and sending leads. Combined with public listings.
“We want to use AI to empower property managers and tenants in a new way,” Zumper founder and CEO Anthemos Georgiades said in a statement. “Zoe is a game changer for the rental industry – she provides 24/7 support to educate renters, narrow their search, and help set up their visit. Property managers should expect to find Zumper’s most knowledgeable leads when Zoe takes them on.”

A few years ago, Zillow has incorporated AI into several of its products, including home search, tours, fair housing policies and a “natural language search” assistant. The portal giant has also partnered with them Howard Hanna in AI tools for agents.
