United Real Estate is expanding its presence in New Orleans

Based in New Orleans United Real Estate Partners continues to grow. On Thursday, the company announced a merger with Real Estate Resource Group.
According to the announcement, the merger will strengthen United’s presence in the Greater New Orleans area. Earlier this year, the company announced another merger with it The Geaux Realty Team.
βThe booming growth now taking place in the Greater New Orleans market is exciting and will continue in the coming months. Our mission is to improve the financial lives of brokerages and agents by delivering the highest levels of support and service,β said Rick Haase, president of United Real Estate, in a statement. “This allows for the development of a living agent and integration and discovery alike.”
As a result of the merger, the company now has three offices in Louisiana – New Orleans, Metairie and Mandeville – and nearly 200 agents.
“Through this partnership, we will expand our reach, share best practices and provide our agents with greater growth opportunities,” said Tom Bookhardt, CEO of United Real Estate Partners, in a statement. “We hope this union will enable us to meet and exceed market demands with innovative solutions and unparalleled dedication to our customers’ success.”
Ken Rayer, managing partner of Real Estate Resource Group, cited United’s agent compensation model β which he says is similar to his firm’s existing model β as the reason his firm chose to merge.
“It was important that we make sure that our agents are comfortable with this step. We did not want to join the commission-split brokerage model, which will increase their cost of doing business,” said Rayer in a statement. “Instead, we’re essentially upgrading them and adding new tools, new office space and a great support team at no cost to them.”
